Brownfield acquisition and redevelopment in Chester County, Pennsylvania
Filed under Success Stories on Sunday, December 17, 2006 by Author: Onesky Staff.
The Chester County Economic Development Council (CCEDC) selected Onesky Engineering, Inc. to help them with a large brownfield acquisition and redevelopment project to benefit the region. The project is funded through a federal grant. We are working directly with the United States Environmental Protection Agency (US EPA) throughout all phases of the project.
The first step is to complete a Phase I Environmental Site Assessment (ESA). We will conduct the ESA in accordance with the newly amended ASTM Phase I ESA Standard, which includes the “All Appropriate Inquiries” rule to qualify for CERCLA liability protection. We will address any environmental impacts under the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (PA DEP) Land Recycling Program, so interested parties qualify for Act 2 Liability Protection.
